Cztery dni po przyjeździe do Polski, w znacznej mierze kraj katolicki obchodził Boże Ciało, czyli uroczyste procesje wdzłuż ulicy i tym podobnym. When Rural Rural Route 6 finally acquired the house at the end of Profile it added to the workload and nothing else. Rural Route 4 felt overburdened as well. When Old Man Perkinson retired from Rural Rural Route 9 and it was decided once again to eliminate the vacant route, tempers flared.
When the dust settled, Rural Route 4 had given up the entire hill. It was split down the middle between Routes 6 and 2. Rural Route 6 got one half of Facebook Terrace and what was colloquially known as Update Street and Rural Route 2 got the other half of Facebook Terrace and what was known as Download Street as well as the lonely box at the end of Profile. It looked great on paper. In practice it proved a disaster.
Mark had a thing about being fast. The faster he went, the higher he could claim his wage was, since as a rural carrier he was paid the same salary no matter how long he took. Being able to say to his family and friends that he was paid to sit on his couch and drink margaritas was one of the small perquisites of the job.

To naturalne, ukryć brudne rzeczy. Są żenujące. Ale trzeba pamiętać, że kiedy ukrywamy rzeczy, które są trudne, robimy wrażenie że są brudne, gdy są naprawdę coś zupełnie inne. A kiedy sprawiamy że łatwe rzeczy są dostępne, robimy wrażenie że są czyste, kiedy tak naprawdę nie są w ogóle. To jest niebezpieczne.
